From dense inner-city routes to airport links, monorails transform urban areas. Fast and cost-effective to build, the driverless INNOVIA monorail 300 system offers comfortable mass-transit capacity with iconic aesthetics. Sleek vehicles run on slender guidebeams, seamlessly integrated into urban environments.
The INNOVIA monorail 300 system provides an efficient and cost-effective solution for growing cities. Quiet vehicles wind their way through existing infrastructure on elevated guideways. The guideway structure is built off-site to permit fast assembly with minimal disruption on-site. Thanks to its advanced features, such as CITYFLO mass transit rail control solution for driverless operation and regenerative breaking, the monorail system is extremely efficient to operate. Service is frequent, reliable and safe, meaning more passengers and more revenue for cities.
INNOVIA monorail 300 systems offer:
Bombardier Transportation will deliver the INNOVIA monorail 300 system technology for two mass rapid transit lines in Bangkok. This will improve the commute for more than 400,000 people every day.
Bombardier will design and supply the mechanical and electrical elements for the two monorail lines, and deliver a combined total of 72 four-car INNOVIA monorail 300 trains (288 cars) equipped with CITYFLO 650 automatic train control technology for driverless operation. The new vehicles will run on two lines, with 42 train sets servicing the new 34.5 km Khae Rai-MinBuri (Pink) Line and 30 train sets for the 30.4 km Lat Phrao-Samrong (Yellow) Line.
Bombardier is delivering its fully automated INNOVIA monorail 300 system for the new São Paulo Metro Line 15. Connecting the Vila Prudente and Cidade Tiradentes urbanizations, the driverless monorail system will provide comfortable mass transit for São Paulo’s citizens.
The 54 seven-car driverless INNOVIA monorail 300 trains (378 cars) are equipped with CITYFLO 650 automatic train control technology, which allows for shorter wait-times in stations and higher service levels. End-to-end travel time is reduced from two hours by car to just 50 minutes on the monorail, benefiting up to 500,000 riders daily.
