Since October 2002 the Geneva Transport Authority (Transports publics genevois, TPB) ordered 39 FLEXITY Outlook vehicles from Bombardier.
ICN electric multiple unit (EMU), Switzerland
In June 2001, based upon the successful performance of the existing ICN fleet, the SBB awarded the consortium Bombardier Transportation, consortium leader, and Alstom a further order for 10 additional ICN trainsets.These trainsets are now in service on the two passenger lines Geneva-Lausanne-Biel-Delémont-Basel and Biel-Zürich.
Lötschberger electric multiple unit (EMU), Switzerland
The Lötschberger RegioExpress offers efficient and reliable regional transport for commuters and tourists travelling between Bern and the Simmental and through the Lötschberg to the Valais region.
Cobra tram, Zurich, Switzerland
The Zurich transport authority (VBZ) ordered 88 five-module trams of the “Cobra”-type. The future-oriented 100 % low-floor trams feature seven wide, identical double-doors which ensure a quick passenger flow.

Bombardier has supplied 50 TRAXX F140 AC locomotives to Swiss rail operator SBB Cargo to expand and modernise their fleet in the last 15 years.
TRAXX F140 MS locomotive in Switzerland
Bombardier Transportation won a contract with Swiss operator, SBB Cargo in May 2003 for the supply of 18 TRAXX F140 multi-system (MS) locomotives, predominantly for use in freight services from Switzerland to Milan, Italy.
TRAXX F140 AC locomotive at Lötschberg, Switzerland
Bombardier Transportation has delivered twenty TRAXX F140 AC electric locomotives to BLS Cargo AG, for use on cross-border (Switzerland - Germany) and Alpine transit services.
TRAXX F140 MS locomotive in Switzerland
Swiss rail operator, BLS Cargo, operates 10 Re 486 locomotives, also known as TRAXX F140 MS electric multi-system locomotives. Homologated for cross-border services between Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, the locomotives are equipped with train protection systems for use in all of these countries, as well as being fitted with the European Train Control System (ETCS) for operation in the Lötschberg base tunnel.
The new TWINDEXX Express double-deck intercity train ramps up capacity and speed while providing greater operational efficiency and exceptional passenger comfort. It delivers a quantum leap forward in performance on curved tracks.
Bombardier Transportation and Zurich Public Transport (VBZ) signed a contract for the delivery of 70 seven-part low floor trams with an option for another 70 vehicles on March 2, 2017. The first vehicles will be delivered at the end of 2019.
The new vehicles will increase capacity, security and comfort for passengers while VBZ will receive proven vehicles with high efficiency and reliability. With their timeless design, the trams will sustainably integrate into Zurich's urban landscape.
