Manager of Services Switzerland
Since 2014 Leonardo Lorusso has been manager of the Services Business in Switzerland and since 2018 manager of Parts Solution for the CEC region.
Leonardo Lorusso started his professional education in 1995 as an electrician at ABB Verkehrssysteme, a predecessor company of Bombardier Transportation Switzerland. He has many years of professional experience at all levels and positions with a focus on Process Improvements, Bids, Purchasing and corresponding Profit & Loss responsibilities. He has acquired in-depth knowledge in the Procurement and Supply Chain sectors and has held managerial roles on a regional level for ten years. Since January 2017, he has also been a member of the Management Board of Bombardier Transportation (Switzerland) Ltd, where he represents the Services sector.
For a long time, Leonardo Lorusso has managed the Replacement Parts, Repairs and Overhaul Business in Switzerland and has developed it into a successful and lucrative business branch. He led the initiative to integrate various functions of the Replacement Parts business and Purchasing into a comprehensive supply chain concept. In addition to interdepartmental processes, highly responsible, customer-oriented organisation with a will to succeed forms the foundation of this concept for Switzerland and the broader region.
Leonardo Lorusso is married, has two children and lives in the city of Zurich.
