Eduardo Saccaro is presently Commercial Director, AME Division, with a focus on developing new opportunities in PPPs and turnkey systems, and commercial support to the ongoing SP Metro Line 15 Monorail project. Eduardo joined Bombardier Transportation in April 2011 as Sales and Business Development Director, Systems Division, to further develop its participation in the then growing rail transportation market in Brazil, following the groundbreaking application of the monorail technology to Mass Transit Systems, with the São Paulo Metro Line 15, where he led the activities of Marketing and Sales of Turnkey Railway Systems and Operation and Maintenance projects.
Mr. Saccaro started his professional career in 1981 at Asea, lately ABB, where, for 20 years, he held several positions, from Process Engineering in the Power T&D Segment to Business General Management in the Transport Segment, later Adtranz, predecessor of Bombardier Transportation in Brazil. From 2001 to 2011 he worked with Alstom as Director of Project Operations and Customer Director in the Transport Sector and as Business Managing Director, Thermal Products, in the Power Sector.
Eduardo Saccaro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo, in Brazil.
