Wendy is currently the President Australia and New Zealand at Bombardier Transportation and joined the company in February 2019.

Wendy has around 30 years experience in executive management positions within the transport, infrastructure, construction, resource, agribusiness and government sectors.

Based in Melbourne, Wendy is responsible for the end-to-end mandate of business development and sales through to project execution and services delivery for the South East Asia and Australia region.

Wendy McMillan brings executive experience gained in the government, rail, infrastructure and consulting sectors. She joins Bombardier from the Victoria State Government where she was Chief Executive Officer of the Rolling Stock Development Division with responsibility for trains and trams, including developing strategic business cases and delivery of capital projects, asset management and industry development. Prior to that she has held various senior roles in business, including for Queensland Rail, Everything Infrastructure Group (EIG), John Holland Group and the Port of Brisbane Corporation.

Wendy is a past director of Queensland Rail, where she chaired the major projects and procurement committee, and was member of audit and risk and people and safety committees; and is a past deputy chair of St Aidan’s School Council.

Wendy holds a Bachelor of Business and Marketing, and Bachelor of Arts (Commerce/ Government).
